 
BRASS ADMIRALITY ANCHOR LANTERN FRESNEL LENS 
Admirality ships at anchor signaled their position by lighting an Anchor Lantern. Anchor Lamps typically have a 360° FRESNEL LENS, which gives the light visibility from 2-3 miles. Exceptionally heavy quality reproduction, in solid brass with rippled glass Fresnel Lens. The lantern stands 10" tall excluding the top and bottom handles and is 6" in diameter. It has a top and bottom handle that can be secured to an anchor chain and will not fly even in Gales. The piece is new, just fill oil and light the lamp. |
